Google Maps – The Palombino Pass
Today we try a simple and usually not very tiring climb. Starting a little further below Hut of Londo we went up the Londo Valley up to the Palombino Pass at an altitude of 2035msl. Shortly after the departure we began to find residual snow from the abundant winter that still does not want to leave us. At the pass cold wind and sleet made us change our mind about getting to the top of the Palombino ridge. On the way, a stop at the Old Hut of Peza which was abandoned following a fire.
