Wonderful walk at high altitude that runs through the upper part of the Digon valley. We start from Silvella Hut and go up the valley to Silvella Pass along a wide panoramic mule track with CAI-146 trail marker. Then, following the CAI-148 signpost, we turn south and begin the ascent of Hill Quaterna ‘on a narrow mule track with coarse gravel. Arriving at the Saddle we face the last steep section towards the North-West that takes us to the top. Narrow peak and panoramic scene of battles during the First World War. Once upon a time it was also a volcano.
