Google Maps – The Fort Vallo Littorio on The foot of Quaterna’ Hill
Just above the Coltrondo alpine Hut, at the foot of Quaterna’ Hill along the CAI-159 path, we can admire the remains of the Vallo Littorio Military Fort dating back to the First World War. The almost completely underground structure is in excellent condition. Only the front facade where the now walled entrance is located remains visible while the rest of the building unfolds under the ground.
